Speaking along the lines of Android Apps, I’m going to recommend the Vehicle logger app from Michaelsoft in today’s post. For all those who’s had to log their car trips for tax purposes, they would know how tedious the manual process is. This process is made easy by this application where it not only keeps track of distances for you, but expense, maintenance, insurance, registration loggings etc. It keeps everything in one place with easy options to generate/export your reports. Here’s the description from the Play Store:
Vehicle Logger makes keeping various Vehicle Log Books (car, truck, taxi, motorbike, etc) painless and easy.
• Business/Personal distance tracking (km or miles, GPS or manual)
• Fuel expense logging
• Maintenance/insurance/registration expense logging
• Club membership limit reminders
• Log Book and Expense Report generation
• and more!
Australian driver required to keep a logbook for tax purposes? Vehicle Logger will generate log books based on Australian Tax Office (ATO) requirements around the Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) or Business Activity Statements (BAS), in the format recommended by the ATO.
Simply Log, Generate, and Submit!
The app itself is free to download with a lot of features available already. Within the app itself, there is a features manager where there’s options to buy individual features or unlock the full version at a discounted cost. I especially like this because the app gives you the freedom to choose what you need and what you like without forcing you to fork out the full price for things you don’t need.
